The Framing Exercises
This section archives four presentations and one poster that were developed during the period of the case study. Over the course of the PhD I presented seven research presentations and prepared the visualisations for five major presentations to the colleagues at my institution. The research presentations selected intentionally mark the shifts in thinking over the period of the research and how over time I developed different tools for framing the research conversation. Methodologically the distinctive character of the presentations rests with the multi-modal nature of visually and verbally framing the project insights. Although the professional practice presentations are not technically framing the research project, it seemed relevant to illustrate the visualisations within one narrative sequence and not always as a sequence of one off images. The poster is the equivalent of the dissemination diagrams throughout the dissertation, an attempt at visually framing for discussion the outcomes of the case study.
